Amrit Paul Singh, known to his friends and associates as Tony, is a UK-based entrepreneur with successful businesses in retail, property development and investment. He has been happily married to Manveer for over 20 years and has three children, Simran, Dylan and AJ.
Recently, at the age of 47, he decided he wanted more out of life for him and his family that what the UK has to offer. Something better than the highly bureaucratic, negative outlook and down beat culture common on the dreary grey british shores.
He wanted to start planting his seeds in a thriving forward thinking economy, where you could live and work in a positive community and participate in the natural upward trajectory of the environment. Having considered various places, the choice had to be where he and his family have holidayed at least once a year for the past decade or so. Dubai here we come.
Our Story
On researching and exploring this new opportunity, it became clear that every broker Tony spoke with was offering different random property options, different advice and no clear path on how to secure the ideal property based on his and his family’s requirements. The brokers all seemed desperate to just sell something, and Tony felt almost harassed and certainly confused about what a good investment should look like and who to trust.
All that changed when he met with Vinita Anand at a Dubai property roadshow in Manchester. She had a refreshing approach that was clearly distinct from all the other brokers Tony had been dealing with. She was patient, expert in her knowledge and importantly not pushy or desperate to sell something just for the sake of hitting targets. She had a quiet confidence about her that definitely resonated and built an authentic trust in Tony.
Having fully understood the client’s needs, wants and specific financial circumstances, Vinita was able to recommend a suitable property to Tony and Manveer which was exactly what they were looking for. It was a 6 bedroom villa in the hotly anticipated Damac Islands master community, but demand for a unit on this development was fierce, especially during the phase 1 launch where the best positioned properties are available at the lowest possible prices. Buyers outweighed available villas on a ratio of 5 to 1.
Tony was concerned that with so much demand for this incredible development, he may be left disappointed by not receiving an allocation by the time of the project launch day. He was told by other brokers that securing a villa on Damac Islands is unrealistic unless he’s willing to buy multiple units and that he should probably consider an alternative development project where availability could be assured.
Vinita reassured Tony with the words “don’t worry- we got this”. Maybe she knew something, that the other brokers didn’t know?
It turns out, she did. She knew Ali.
And Ali makes it his business to know all the developer’s allocation managers on very good terms. Ali is the broker that other brokers go to when they are struggling to get allocation on a prime property for their clients.
Fast forward to the Damac Islands launch day on 10th December 2024, Ali calls Tony at 6am GMT to say that all the villa plots have sold out within minutes mostly to institutional buyers and he has managed to get an allocation of one of the prime villa units for him. For every villa unit available, there were around 4 buyers not getting an allocation but Tony was one of the lucky ones. Lucky because he had the right broker in his corner that could guarantee an allocation while others spun the wheel of chance.
It later emerged that Damac Islands is the fastest selling and highest grossing development in the history of Dubai grossing AED 10 billion within 10 hours of launch. Tony was delighted and Ali was validated as the broker that achieves what most can’t reach, while Vinita remained quietly confident that a great outcome was inevitable.
Fast forward again to the spring of 2025, and Tony has a brain wave.
Surely, there are lots of potential UK buyers that are in the same position as he was that would benefit from UK based guidance, Vinita’s expert knowledge and Ali’s influence with the developers.
It took one meeting in January 2025 in Dubai to agree a partnership between Tony, Vinita and Ali, that would serve UK investors with the same level of expertise and insider connections to secure the best off-plan deals in an honest, transparent, and client-focused way.
